The new hall at Newmills Presbyterian Church was officially opened by the Moderator of the General Assembly Right Rev Dr Robert L Craig. The opening ceremony was attended by members of the congregation, local dignitaries, and representatives from the wider community.

The new hall will be used for a variety of purposes, including church services, community events, and youth activities. It is a valuable addition to the church and the community, and it will be used to serve the needs of many people.

Dr Craig also spoke about the importance of community and the role that churches play in building strong communities. He said that churches are "places where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow" and that they are "places where people can find support and encouragement."

The opening of the new hall is a joyous occasion for the congregation of Newmills Presbyterian Church. It is a sign of the church's commitment to serving the needs of the community, and it is a testament to the faith and dedication of the congregation.
